Kuro no Hibi? Yes.
Why is it Kuro? Well nothing more appropriate than saying that this is a Dark day, a black Figma released and another black themed Figma previewed. They’re Black Gold Saw and Dorothy from The Big O. This is Signum on the scene, reporting.
Our first star today is Black Gold Saw with her errr… Saw-like sword, King Saw. Black Gold Saw is one of many characters from Black Rock Shooter series. Although short, Black Gold Saw had a short appearances on the OVA, the first parts on the OVA Black Rock Shooter shown fighting her when she was eventually stabbed. No one knows what happened after that, we might have as well as expecting a second OVA (Strength is not even introduced yet).
The origins of her is still remain unclear as well as her human counterpart. Having two pointed horns and bend into each other at the tip and skeletal claws similar to Dead Master’s yet having the same bikini and hood design as Black Rock Shooter’s didn’t help us identify who she was. All we can do is to wait and see of what will happen in the future along with the release of the new OVA.
Our next star is Dorothy from The Big O.
The Big O (THE ビッグオー, Za Biggu Ō?) is a Japanese animated television series created by director Kazuyoshi Katayama and designer Keiichi Sato for Sunrise Studios. The writing staff was assembled by the series’ head writer, Chiaki J. Konaka.
The story takes place forty years after a mysterious occurrence causes the residents of Paradigm City to lose their memories. The series follows Roger Smith, Paradigm City’s top Negotiator. He provides this much needed service with the help of a gynoid named R. Dorothy Wayneright and his butler Norman Burg. When the need arises, Roger calls upon Big O, a giant relic from the city’s history that may hold the key to its future.
There’s not much I can dwell into since I don’t watch the anime nor having the intention to, but I think I can still give you a brief introduction of her to you (with the help of Wikipedia of course). Dorothy is a gynoid, which was then helping with Norman (Roger’s Butler) chores as a form of payment for Roger’s Help. There, brief enough? 😀
A rather bold yet daring strategy from Max, probably they expect the owner of the late Big O Resin Kit from Max (Released at Mar. 2000) to buy her and pose her together with the mecha. It’s still look freaking cool though.
I think that’s enough for today, see you on another day, Signum, over and out.
